POOL AND SPA RULES
Persons using the pool/spa are expected to be courteous to other users. The Pool and Spa Rules include, but are not limited to the following: (For the complete Pool & Spa Policy please go to HOA Library>Documents>Rules and Regulations and see Chapter V.
* Persons using the pool/spa do so at their own risk. There is no life guard on duty.
* Pool hours are 6:00 AM to 11:00 PM. “Quiet time” is observed between 11:00 PM and 6:00 AM.
* Persons under 12 years of age, must be accompanied by an adult in the pool/spa area. Children, 5 years of age or under, must be accompanied by an adult in the pool and/or spa.
* No animals are permitted in the pool and/or spa or within the pool enclosure.
* The following are not allowed in the pool area at any time:
a) Glass containers of any kind;
` b) Skate boards, skates or bicycles;
c) Any item or object used in such a manner as to disturb the full use and enjoyment of the pool area by others.
* Pool area gates are to be closed at all times.
* Drinks are allowed in the pool area provided they are in plastic containers. Food is permitted provided it is cleaned up immediately after consumption.

VEHICLES & PARKING

While the Country Club is a “private project” California vehicle laws apply to all areas. No motorized vehicle may be operated on the streets or the golf course property by any person not having a valid vehicle operator’s license. This includes golf carts, moped, etc. PLEASE do not allow children to use your golf carts. Security has been instructed to stop them, and if they are not licensed, escort them home.
All operators of motor vehicles and golf carts within Palm Valley are required to obey all traffic rules as if they were driving on the open road. This includes obeying the 25 mph maximum speed limit and stopping at all stop signs.
Golf carts may be used for transportation around the Association, but must be parked in a garage overnight. Parking on fairway patios or grass areas is prohibited. Operators must be properly licensed. Golf carts must yield the right of way to all other vehicles and pedestrians.
All street parking is parallel except for motorcycles. No parking is permitted within twenty (20) feet in front of a STOP sign, in safety zones, by fire hydrants, in front of any garage (other than your own)without the express permission of the owner of that unit. Blocking driveways (other than your own), parking in front of any mailbox, or parking in a manner that creates a traffic hazard or obstruction or, detracts from the appearance of the common area, or interferes in any way with any owner’s enjoyment of the property is not permitted.

PET POLICY
This is a synopsis of the Pet Policy. For the complete policy please go to HOA Library>Documents>Rules and Regulations and see Chapter VII.
Only domestic animals are allowed in the common area or in the dwelling unit.
All pets must be leashed at all times when in the open common area. If the owner fails to maintain control of the pet while the pet is on a leash or if the pet is in the common area and not on a leash, the owner will be subject to certain penalties. Pets my be unleashed in the limited common area, i.e. the courtyard. No unattended pet of any kind shall be tied up in the common area or the limited common area. Any and all damage to the common area or the limited common area caused by any pet is the responsibility of the owner of that pet.
If any pet creates a continual nuisance to other home owners or residents, including but not limited to barking, screeching, creating an unpleasant odor, etc., or if any pet threatens, frightens, or injures any resident, the owners will be subject to penalties set forth in Section I.
The Board of Directors may also permanently ban the pet from the Association.
All owners are responsible for immediately cleaning up waste after their pet.
PATIOS/POTS & MISCELLANY
- A reasonable number of pots, so as not to appear cluttered, are allowed on the fairway patio. No more than four 18” - 24” pots are permitted.
- Pots must be neutral in color and all pots must match in a solid color and details.
- Flower bowls, no larger than 16” are allowed on pony walls and pillars. Flower bowl contents shall be attractive and well maintained.
- Pots or other items are not allowed on patio privacy walls.
- If plant material is not maintained in pots the HOA will remove pots from the common area.
- Fairway patios, courtyards and common areas are not to be cluttered with miscellaneous items such as statuary, artificial plants and/or flowers, bird feeders, wind chimes, wind-socks, flower pots, insect electrocution devices, novelty wall items and other such items that may be unsightly from the golf course or the common area.

WASTE/TRASH HANDLING
Trash and recyclables are picked up on Mondays by two separate trucks. Only the approved bins may be used. Gray for recyclables and Maroon for trash. These containers can be put out on Sunday after 6:00 PM or before 6:00 AM Monday. Containers must be removed from the street by 9:00 AM the day following the pickup. Place the container in the street at the end of the driveway or against the curb. containers must be at least five feet from the mailbox and fifteen feet from the nearest parked car. Keep the container lids closed and place the front side of the container toward the street. Do not overload the containers. Burrtec will not empty overloaded containers. Take any excess trash to the Wisteria Drive dumpsters. All cardboard boxes must be flattened, tied together and place next to the recycling container. If you have questions or problems regarding the trash/recycling program please call Burrtec at 341-2113.
Please call Burrtec to arrange a special pick up for any large items of furniture etc., you wish to dispose of.
